Wizards Announces "Archenemy"

Wizards of the Coast has officially announced its multiplayer product for 2010, currently titled "Archenemy." Promo language for the product exhorts "You've played Magic one-on-one. You've played it in a free-for-all. But have you ever wanted to just throw down the gauntlet against all your friends at once? Have you ever wanted to take on the whole world and show them who's boss?"

The product is set to release on June 18th. There are no specifics on game play or how the product will work, but it was described as having four different game packs, each with a 60-card Magic deck featuring eight rares and 20 over-sized cards of some type. Update: Pro Tour-Austin champion and former Upper Deck TCG designer Brian Kibler updated his Facebook status following the announcement to read: "Looks like Magic has raid decks now! WAY TO COPY WOW GUYS!"
