Grand Prix Barcelona Information Released

Wizards of the Coast has announced information regarding Grand Prix: Barcelona through their digital Magic magazine DailyMTG.com. The event, featuring the Standard format, runs March 26-27. Players who register for the Grand Prix early enough will earn a free foil copy of Maelstrom Pulse, the Grand Prix promo card for 2011. The entry fee for the event is 25 Euro.

In addition to the Grand Prix, the event will host last-chance Grand Prix Trials on Friday night for a chance to earn three byes for the main event on Saturday. Friday night will also feature a Super FNM Sealed tournament. There will be a Pro Tour Qualifier for Pro Tour: Nagoya on Sunday, and there are also Eternal side events scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday. Grand Prix: Barcelona will also feature artists John Avon and Greg Staples.
