Is this the next big thing for Monowhite Tokens?

The question you need to ask yourself about Join the Ranks is how badly do you want two instant speed Allies? In Standard and other Constructed formats, the answer is not that badly. Join the Ranks forces you to pay double the expected price for two 1/1 Soldiers because they're Allies (remember Raise the Alarm?). That makes it a probable no go for the world of 60 card formats.

In Limited, however, Join the Ranks may be a total blowout in the Ally deck. Consider casting it with a Murasa Pyromancer on the table. Two enters-the-battlefield triggers mid-combat? Plus two blockers? Your opponent won't know what hit them. Or if you have a +1/+1 Ally on the table, like Umara Raptor? Instantly give your team +2/+2 as well as adding two members to the table. For these reasons, Join the Ranks may become an all star for the Ally deck, but in Constructed? Seems unlikely.
