Zendikar Largest Set Ever

An article published today on ICv2 confirms that Zendikar is the biggest release ever in the history of Magic: The Gathering. Over 17 years the game has seen numerous sets come and go, but Zendikar's fall release beat them all.

Numbers for Zendikar Prereleases and Releases were up 25% over the previous big set release according to the article.

Considering the shaky market last year worldwide, the announcement is a big one for both Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro, its parent company. They're riding an unprecedented wave of success with Zendikar, Magic 2010, Duels of the Planeswalkers, and a number of other products. The question now is whether or not they can keep that momentum going.
