At the StarCityGames.com Legacy Open in Dallas, Tom "The Boss" Ross managed to win an improbable match in the Finals. Locked out in a bad matchup during the third game, his opponent James Palaima committed his third game rules violation, resulting in a match-ending game loss for the 14 year old competitor. Today on ChannelFireball.com, Ross gave his first public statement on the situation. Regarding the game loss, he said:

"The game loss is not my ideal way of winning a tournament, but the rules are there for a reason and breaking them doesn’t happen without consequence."
