Surprise Redesign for StarCity

StarCityGames.com, a leading digital Magic publication and card retailer, underwent a surprise redesign over the course of the weekend. They unveiled the new look on their front page beginning on Monday. Here's a look at their previous display:

In addition to the new look, the company also seems to be experiencing a brand rebirth by providing a brand name for the free-side content. Now it's "StarCity Select."

The company has been an industry leader in Magic digital content for years, rising to prominence after The Dojo collapsed (The Dojo was the first large scale Magic-only website). In addition to being one of, if not THE, largest Magic retailer in the world, StarCityGames.com also hosts the StarCityGames Open Series and has served as the stomping ground for dozens of the world's best Magic columnists. They also consistently generate some of the largest outpouring of daily gaming content, and have managed to generate revenue successfully as a new media enterprise via a premium subscription to certain portions of their content.
