Passport fees in the United States are set to increase in just a few days, and if you're headed to any foreign Pro Tours or Grand Prixs you have until Tuesday, July 13 to get your passport before paying an additional $35 to do so. The new fees:
Passport-Adult: $135 from $100
Passport-Minor: $105 from $85
Passport renewal: $110 from $75
Additional passport pages: $82 from no charge
Visa fees will be going up anywhere from $10 to $100+ dollars, meaning if you're headed to China, Brazil, Russia, and other nations requiring visas from the U.S., you could be in for a hefty hit to the pocket book in doing so.
The moral of the story? Apply for your passport this week or Monday of next week if you're headed to Pro Tour-Amsterdam if you want to save yourself the money from increase in fees.
