Duel Decks: Phyrexia vs. The Coalition have been getting a lot of attention with their impending March release. They made a world debut at Pro Tour-San Diego in the hands of gunslingers like the crew from Robot Chicken. Yesterday, we brought you the official decklists from DailyMTG.com. Now the crew from GatheringMagic.com have posted an interview with Magic developer Mike Turian discussing the new release's design and what fans can expect from the new product.

In the interview Turian discusses some of the strategies the two decks might employ to defeat one another. The Phyrexians, headed up by none other than the Phyrexian Negator, have Living Death to back up their early aggression. As for The Coalition? Turian explains they tried to create a five color deck that has a unique flavor of its own.
