MOL Reaches 1,000,000 Tournaments

Magic: The Gathering Online reached a surprising milestone recently: 1,000,000 tournaments since relaunching in 2008. The announcement was made on the Wizards of the Coast Community site.

Magic Online mimics the real world experience of Magic in the digital realm. Real world prices for packs combined with $1 event tickets allow players to participate in Sealed, Draft, Standard, and other events. The program has become prime testing ground for many of the game's top pros, serving as a place for them to prepare for upcoming Pro Tours and Grand Prixs.
