MMS and TCGPlayer Circuits Join Forces

In an announcement made Monday it was revealed that TCGPlayer.com and the Midwest Masters Series will be joining forces in 2011 to offer Double Qualifiers. The events will award both TCGPlayer Points AND Midwest Masters Series Points. The events will continue to award cash prizes, Gen Con badges, and traditional prizes like boosters and sleeves. Prize payouts will be as follows:
1st: 20 MMS points, 30 TCGPlayer points, Gen Con 2011 badge, $500
2nd: 20 MMS points, 25 TCGPlayer points, Gen Con 2011 badge, $500
3rd-4th: 20 MMS points, 12 TCGPlayer points, Gen Con 2011 badge, $500
5th-8th: 10 MMS points, 6 TCGPlayer points, Gen Con 2011 badge, $250
Additional points and prizes are paid out to lower finishing players as well.
