Kentucky Open Weekend to Award 5k

BlueGrass Magic has announced the dates and locations for the 2010 Kentucky Open. The event, in its ninth year of competition, awards $5,000 in cash and features the Standard format. Running the same weekend is the Sunday WinterKing, awarding $2,500 and using the Extended format. Here are the details:

 

Kentucky Open

 

 

Saturday November 13th, 2010

Registration begins at 9 a.m.

1st round begins at 11 a.m.

Entry Fee:

$30

 

Tournament Structure:

Modified Swiss with Top 8 playing single elimination.

 

Tournament Format:

Standard

 

Prizes:

1st place receives $2000 & The Kentucky Open Trophy

2nd place receives $600 

3rd and 4th place receives $400 each

5th through 8th receives $200 each

9th through 16th receives $100 each

 

Winterking

When:

Sunday November 14th, 2010

Registration begins at 9 a.m.

1st round begins at 11 a.m.
