This past weekend I had the pleasure of returning to the Midwest to spend time at Feral Events' Prerelease to gunsling. The head judge was Lloyd Dodson, and you can read my report from the event here.

Today I received an email from Lloyd which read as follows:

"Most people do not know this but on 19 March 2007 we lost my youngest brother, Bryan Scott Fry, at the age of 20.

In memory of him, I will be running a Charity Event on 20 March 2010 to benefit the Kristin Brooks Hope Center(www.HopeLine.com). To get the ball rolling, I will be donating a case of product to the prize pool.  Any support that I could get for the event(product, singles, gift certificates, allowing me to send flyers to put up in your store, putting info up on your website, etc.) would be greatly appreciated.

Here are the details for the Event.

Location: Collector's Cache, 13354 College BLVD, Olathe, KS 66210

Registration: 1000 Open Registration 1100 Begin Tournament

Entry Fee: $25

Tournament Structure: Swiss Rounds (determined by Number of Players) with a cut to Top 8

Format: Standard Type II (Decklists Required)

Lloyd's a good man, and I encourage those in the Kansas area to get out and support a great cause. For more information about the event or to inquire about donating prizes, try visiting the Facebook page located here.
