The StarCityGames.com Standard Open in Minneapolis has drawn to a close! With 240 players battling it was Gerry Thompson and Ian Ellis who met in the Finals. For Thompson it was the second time he had made it to the Finals, but it was also the second time he would lose there. Ellis's Jund deck, the most popular archetype of the tournament though at a marked decrease over its levels at previous events, was too powerful for Gerry's four color Dredge-uh-Vine deck.

This is the winning decklist:

4 Bloodbraid Elf

4 Goblin Ruinblaster

2 Grave Titan

4 Putrid Leech

4 Sprouting Thrinax

1 Bituminous Blast

4 Lightning Bolt

2 Terminate

2 Garruk Wildspeaker

2 Sarkhan the Mad

4 Maelstrom Pulse

1 Slave of Bolas

3 Forest

3 Mountain

3 Swamp

3 Dragonskull Summit

2 Lavaclaw Reaches

4 Raging Ravine

4 Savage Lands

4 Verdant Catacombs

Sideboard:

4 Obstinate Baloth

3 Doom Blade

3 Jund Charm

4 Blightning

1 Slave of Bolas
