Improve the Pro Tour in 3 Steps

Sam Stoddard, the man behind the Fearless Magical Inventory, has updated his blog with a new post arguing for three changes that would significantly improve the Pro Tour. His most interesting suggestion (and the most difficult to implement)? A road warrior qualification for PTQ players.

Under his proposed system, the more PTQs you play, and the better you do at them, the closer you would come to qualifying for the Pro Tour whether you won a slot or not. Setting up a system to track the results of Sam's proposal would likely be the largest challenge, and a lack of a proposal to help pay for those players to make it to Pro Tours runs counter to arguments behind his two other points, but Sam is a man who knows his stuff.
