All the way from New Zealand, reader Andrew Plinston sent us an awesome image from his birthday: a Magic cake. Andrew's wife made it for him to celebrate the big day. Check it out:

Andrew has been playing Magic since The Dark. His wife of three years works as a contractor while Andrew works at a television station. He pointed out she does make cakes part time for friends, but he was surprised to see his hobby personified in high calorie goodness.
Magic has played a significant role in Andrew's marriage. He credited the game with providing both he and his wife the chance to see their top 3 favorite places in the world: Rome, New York, and Japan. Says Andrew "I don't think we would have been able to do any of those trips without MTG!"
Here's a photo of the lovely couple enjoying some touristing in Kyoto:
Happy birthday to you Andrew, from the crew at TheStarkingtonPost.com! You are one lucky guy.
