Hasbro 1st Quarter Earnings Transcript

Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner hosted a phone call for investors and the media covering the company's first quarter revenues. Profits were up dramatically, nearly four times what they were during the first quarter of 2009. Hasbro, the parent company of Wizards of the Coast, even credited Magic for part of its strong performance.

Said Goldner "One more thing I should mention as I look at the array of games that are selling well I think the Wizards of the Coast folks certainly deserve a shout out for their effort and really Magic the Gathering is performing exceedingly well both as the analog paper based game as well as online."
