During the 2009 Pro Tour Season, ChannelFireball's Luis Scott-Vargas took down the Extended title in Berlin playing a hyper aggressive combo deck based around Elves. It's only fitting that for the 2010 season, Chris "the Doctor" Lachmann would reveal a new list of the old archetype for Extended on LSV's own site, ChannelFireball. Lachmann used the list to make the Top 8 of a PTQ over the weekend. His 2HG partner in crime, Jacob Van Lunen, used the same list to take the top slot and earn his way back to the Pro Tour. Here's what the two took to the tournament:

4 Llanowar Elves

4 Boreal Druid

4 Nettle Sentinel

4 Heritage Druid

2 Elves of Deep Shadow

1 Essence Warden

4 Elvish Visionary

2 Eternal Witness

4 Glimpse of Nature

4 Summoner's Pact

1 Weird Harvest

2 Manamorphose

1 Grapeshot

4 Cloudstone Curio

4 Verdant Catacombs

4 Misty Rainforest

1 Pendelhaven

1 Stomping Ground

9 Forest

Sideboard:

4 Blood Moon

2 Magus of the Moon

2 Viridian Shaman

2 Nissa Revane

3 Ancient Grudge

2 Umezawa's Jitte

Could the Elves deck from the Sliver Kids put a hole in the Extended metagame? The home stretch of the season is transitioning to full swing.
