We've been covering the poker stars who hit up Pro Tour-San Diego this past weekend (check out our interview with Evelyn Ng here). Long time Magic players like Brock Parker, Eric Froehlich, and Dave Williams have served as ambassadors for Magic (and continued playing both games).
But...not everyone sees it that way. The gang at "Wicked Chops Poker" had this to say about Magic:
"We’re not going to rip Magic: The Gathering because we’re pretty sure people who play it can put some sort of hex on us while eating Doritos in their underwear."
So their reasoning is that because Dave Williams hooks up with Playboy models, he shouldn't be playing Magic? Maybe the Wicked Chops crew needs to be informed you can have your cake and eat it too.
