Brazil Prereleases On Schedule

Brazil, a country famous for becoming the first South American nation to foster a World Champion (Carlos Romao), will also be hosting Prereleases for Rise of the Eldrazi at the same time as the rest of the world. Strict immigration controls and dockworker strikes have caused problems with scheduled events being hosted in Brazil, but late Friday Wizards announced the events for Rise of the Eldrazi would be taking place as normal.

In addition to Romao, and hosting events like Grand Prixs and Invitationals, Brazil is also home to Paulo Vitor Dama da Rosa. PVDDR is one of the game's top players, and over the past few years one of its consistent best. He Top 8ed Grand Prix-Houston as recently as two weeks ago.
