The world of sleeves, the protective coverings used on Magic (and other) cards, has come a long way. In the beginning there were only clear sleeves and your opponent could ask you to remove them at any point during a match. Eventually opaque sleeves were added, protecting card backs from being seen, and eventually an explosion of sleeves have allowed you to purchase characters on cards, mana symbols, planeswalkers, and more. Now comes word from Steve Port of Legion Events that one culinary delicacy will finally be making its debut on the back of a card sleeve: bacon. Check it out:

The sleeves will retail for $4.50 per package of 50, a standard rate for sleeves. They're available on the Legion Supplies website, though no word whether they'll be available for mass order by the public on that site.
